Hey...I just ordered 1 Alpine 12" Type S Subwoofer. Can you guys give me some feedback on this woofer?...is it good?...handle well?...quality?...

 

The sounds of the woofer with a alpine or pioner head unit is awsome. get the Type R speakers with it. You will be in heaven. What kinda box did you get?

 

Also if you are still running the stock head unit. Witch i hope you arnt with this sub. Get a alpine 9847. Best head unit ever. Unless you want to spend 200+ for one.

What amp is this being powered with?

 

I have an Alpine CDA-9833 head unit, Polk Audio 6.5" in the front speakers, Infinity Kappa 6x9" 3 ways in the rear speakers, and an Alpine MRV-F540 amp boosting them... The box is 1.25 cubic inch sealed w/ one Alpine Type S 12" Sub, powered by an Alpine MRD-M301. My midrange sounds real good, but is the Alpine Type S 12" sub going to give me enough to be satisfy with???

 

I have two alpine type-e 12" subs in a sealed box getting about 125rms each. they hit nicely
