If you're looking for an amp on a budget... hunt around for an old infinity beta digital 300. I got one for $150 last year... It's old, but it still pounds the living sh*t out of anything wired to it (but in a good way). They pop up on ebay from time to time.
I had that first sub but it was a 15". One 15" on a crappy American Pro 600 watt amp and it still was quaking. Quaking well enough for some crackhead to steal my system out of my car, but I digress. Audiobahn is nice and I think i'll try some stronger 12" subs next time with maybe a power acoustik amp. They have really strong amps, really nice design and really good prices.
