making high beams working with alarm?

Default making high beams working with alarm?

hey guys i have a 2001 integra with a remote alarm. i wanted to make the high beams to turn on with the rest of the lights when the alarm is activated. can i piggyback a wire from the corners or what can I do. thanks for the input

Is this alarm stock or aftermarket.
If it's stock, there's no use in doing so. The alarm is wired to the park lights and low beams. Even if you wire it to the high beams, the low beams will still flash. Just flash your high beams and you'll see the low beams engage also.

If it's aftermarket, who ever installed the alarm system can run tap into the wiring for the high beams instead of the park lights. But remember, the low beams will flash also

you can use that wire to activate a relay that will drive the high beams but you can't directly wire it. they are dependent on a high wattage so make sure the relay is rated to handle that power consumption.

thanks alot man, oh and by the way I do have an aftermarket alarm. I guess I should leave this to the more electronically inclined because Ive had some wiring horror stories. but thanks for the help ill do that.
