the stock speakers barely clear with millimeters to spare. the door panels are completely flush, to give a few more interior space.



one of the other options is to get a QForm Kick Panel to hold speakers, but these only come in 5.25 for the 6th gen.

I think any speaker over 2" deep will be too big, the kick panels might be the way to go.

Does anyone know if the Infinity Reference 6002si will fit in the doors of a 99 Accord?

they should. I know that the mounting depth is about 1-7/8" and they fit with enough room to spare in my 97 accord. I am sure that they'd fit in your 99, they're one of the smallest 6.5s available..

I thought they would too but for some reason according to Crutchfield they won't.....
