wiring for cd player into civic 2002

Default wiring for cd player into civic 2002

i got a Boss cd player and it just has wires, nothing to connect it to like the factory system has, how do i connect it all together. help

you need a wiring harness that plugs into your factory harness. you need to goto best buy or circuit city for this.

alright. looks like thats the only thing i can do is buy the harness kit and the dash kit and get it installed

i got the harness kit and getting the dash kit and i got the wires together, but then my power wire fuse blew. WHAT NOW? I have someone thats going to install it for me tonight, but what about the fuse?

just change the fuse with the SAME rating thats one it. don't go any higher or lower. where did you get the harness from? all the wires on the radios harness side should match the colors on the harness you bought. don't connect the orange or orange/white. when you connect these wires use wire connectors and make sure all your connections leave NO wires bare. the insulation should be convering the metal. you probably connected the wrong wires or had two wires touch and short the circuit causing the fuse to pop.

did you loose you keyless entry and the dome light, or have you gotten them converted. if so, how did you do that.

you only loose keyless and the dome light on the 96-98 civic equipped with keyless. it does effect any other model years. what year is your civic?

2001 EX coupe. so if i just get an aftermarket radio harness, i will still have all the features + the car alarm?

my poor dome light , i can give a **** about the keyless, a month after i got my headunit installed i had an alarm/keylessentry/remote start installed. So that was resolved. How can i go about fixing the dome light. Its would be convienient when i have to get something out the car at night.
