Default Need my system to be LOUDER

How much louder will my sound system be if add an additional amp to push my door and back speakers...right now i have a phoenix gold amp pushing 1 infinity '12 sub, and i installed some new infinity back speakers and some pioneer side speakers.............................is there anything else that i can do to make my car louder?

what head unit are you using? an amp for your mids and highs is a good idea, but you need a good signal to make the louder music, clear music.

To make your system louder, you can...
  • amp your speakers
  • build a more efficient enclosure for your sub
  • sound deaden like crazy

I would say get yourself another amp for the speakers, and add in a crossover before the amps. Preferably one that you can adjust front, rear, and sub seperately. With the right tuning, you will be able to crank up higher with less distortion.

i got my highs ridiculously loud with a set of image dynamic horn's and 2 12" beyma loud speakers. dont even have that much power going to them

:ts: an amp running your mid's and high's will help a lot. but good quality drivers are also key
