help, is there any way to identify an alarm?

Default help, is there any way to identify an alarm?

i got my car from my god brother and he said there is no alarm, but then i have the little light thing and when my car battery died and we jumped it, a siren went off so we took otu the ground wire off the siren and then it disabled my car. i went under the steering wheel and saw the little alarm box but it doesnt say any brand, is there a way that i can find out what kind of alarm it is so ic an buy a new remote to use with it. any help will be appreciated, thanks.

Take a better look at the box. You might have to unbolt it and check all around the box for writing or numbers.
