Default bought alarm but dont need all features

Hi, got an alarm w/ remote starter but dont need that. I just want to arm/disarm, unlock/lock doors, and go off when doors or trunk is opened (since there's a wire for the trunk sensor somewhere). Theres lots of wires on the alarm itself, like engine speed sensor, ignition wires etc... which I dont need. Anyone could guide me on which wires I can leave unconnected on the alarm? Thanks...
