Default System Setup

So i got my 350 Watts 4-ohm Amp and my Subwoofer. I have had them for a long time and i thought that i need to hook them up. If someone has the Time, could u give me simple step by step instructions on how to do this. Its a mono amp and one 12 in Boxed Cerwin Vega Subwoofer.

a pair of 2ch RCA wires goes from the headunit to the amp.

power wire goes from battery to amp, fuse near battery
ground wire goes from amp to chassis
turn-on wire from headunit to amp

+ on amp to + on sub
- on amp to - on sub

that basically covers it. if you dont understand something, or want more detail, just post.

Hey will. I'm very new with Audio setup. I'm going to go to the store. What do I Need to get. Also, I have heard about Amp Kits, is that what I need? The smaller the words you use the better Thanks

either a 4 or 8 gauge amp kit. it should come with everything.

8 gauge is enough for now. 4 gauge if you plan on upgrading anytime in the future. naturally, 4 gauge is more expensive.
