I Don't have Any Wires yet, I know that I'm going to need them. Also, I have heard that you can Pick up an Amp kit at Walmart, and thats all I need. I Already have a Head Unit Up front and some Pioneer Speakers by the Rear Seats. BTW It is a 1995 Honda Civic Coupe. Thanks for the Help...

a pair of 2ch RCA wires goes from the headunit to the amp.

power wire goes from battery to amp, fuse near battery
ground wire goes from amp to chassis
turn-on wire from headunit to amp

+ on amp to + on sub
- on amp to - on sub

that basically covers it. if you dont understand something, or want more detail, just post.

Hey will. I'm very new with Audio setup. I'm going to go to the store. What do I Need to get. Also, I have heard about Amp Kits, is that what I need? The smaller the words you use the better Thanks

b00gers 08-10-2002 06:38 PM

either a 4 or 8 gauge amp kit. it should come with everything.

Paulll 08-10-2002 06:51 PM

Which one is better?

b00gers 08-10-2002 06:53 PM

8 gauge is enough for now. 4 gauge if you plan on upgrading anytime in the future. naturally, 4 gauge is more expensive.
