It sounds best with the seats down and the subs faced twords the front of the car. Next to that, faced twords the tail. I'm gonna have to get grill guards or something for when I go grocery shopping. Don't want my cans of Spagghettios and bottles of beer hittin those subs

same here, I have my 2 12's in a sealed enclosure with the box against the back seat and the subs firing towards the tails. Sounds sweet, except for something inside the gas tank rattling like h*ll when my Vegas come to life

I have 2 12's in a sealed enclosure and I'm wondering if it will matter if they are facing the seats or the other way around....or any way for that matter. Right now I have them facing the tails but I'd like to have them face the back of the seats so I don't have to worry about putting something through them if I load up my trunk
ever heard of speaker grills? I know they look kinda :ghey: but they'll protect your subs from being smashed in by a family sized can of spaghetti-o's

Take out your rear speakers so that theres just a hole with the grill over it, and face your subs upward toward that hole

Heh heh, but really, just try it one way and then the other. I've actually had mixed results in different cars.

i do that. cept the sub still face the rear bumper.

and putting the seat down gives the sub a bigger cabin so to speak...

personally i really like the kicker solobaric grills $20 a piece if you can find them... they look sick and they're aluminum...

or get the polk quasar 2 grill... just a few unconventional grille you could think about it

Yep, when I want vicious bass, I just fold the seat down and the bass is almost unbearable then. But I'd have it no other way
