Default Front Speaker Wires 5th gen accord

ya so i'm a big idiot and i didnt' pay attention to the wires when i put in my new speakers.. i have to splice off the deck and run back to amp then up to speakers but i don't know which colors to cut for my fronts cause i have to leave my rears alone for right now.

i think one is red/brown and other is blue/brown but i can't remember the other colors for it i did a search and didn't come up with much any help is great!

you have to take the grills off and look, unless you someone gets you the diagram.

Look at the wire harness that connects your deck to the factory wires. White and white/black are front left, grey and grey/black are right. Match these up with the stock wires.

is ur head unit stock or aftermarket?

anybody rewire the speakers straight to the amp instead of splicing into the thin ass 18 gauge? i want to use new 12 gauge wire from speaker to amp, but that skinny "tube" between teh door and body is very small. oh well, i'll try, if not... time to drill a new hole! lol =P

12 guage seems kind of big. 16 is probably ok. How much power are you pushing to the speakers?

just a jl 300/4 on MB rsc's and eclipse 6x9's. 65watts rms from the MB's and 75 watts rms from the eclipse. i just have 12 gauge hanging around and no 16 gauge so that's why.

edit... nvm, it's too much of a pain to go straight to the front speakers. i'm just going to splice them from the harness.
