Default My Stupid 5th Gen Accord Problem, Post yours too!

Wusup Guys...
This is my second 5th Gen Accord and i am noticing some of the same dumb problems i have with my first, and my friends accord is doing the same thing!

You know the center arm rest in between the to seats... It is detaching from the rest of the console.. (bad explanation?!) You know , like that whole armrest piece, it is detaching from the rest of the console (where the shifter is)
Does anyone else's Car do this? Anyone have any suggestions... I try just hitting it in, but it pops outta place eventually...

Please help
and feel free to post your common accord problems, because i know i am forgetting some.. Like that rattling noise my antenna makes when it goes down... both me and my friends 5thgen does that

I'd say you're lucky your antenna even goes up and down. Mine broke and just stays up!:madfawk: The other thing that bothers me that many other people have is the damn rattling at low RPMs. That just gets annoying real fast!!

yea, my antenna mast broke too, but i replaced it. it'll eventually happen to all cars with a telescoping antenna like that. not really an accord only problem

are you talking about that sort of buzzing sound you get if you rev the engine at too low an RPM? i HATE that. i saw someone post one time that putting rubber washers on the bolts that the airbox is mounted on will solve the problem.. consumerguide reports that

"The gasket for the midexhaust pipe sticks, causing a buzzing noise."

could that be it?

once you get an exhuast and header that should all go away, or maybe you just can't hear it.

you also have slow power windows, the heater knob/ wire through firewall problem, rear fender rust right above the wheel, and the gas guage problem. i guess it's better than some other cars though.

There are screws that hold the center console into place... pull out your cup holder and there is one screw up at the front of it that goes into near the shifter.

As for me, main problems are slow windows... but not really that bad; HEATER KNOB! I hate that ****!; and as far as the rattling it doesn't bother me... not that big of a deal... And yes dantastic I had that problem too but I made little covers for it cause after the plastic busted, my armrest vinyl tore. I put a cover on both sides... it looks pretty good. And btw that's my switchboard.

Oh and yes the power antenna problem happens to all cars.
