Default strange noise

hi i just recently installed an amp in my car and have noticed that whenver i brake i hear a clicking sound which sounds like is coming from somewhere near the brake light. also, i hear an annoying whistling sound when the headunit turns on as if something is interfering. the way i have my wires run is RCAS and left door speakers wired on drivers side and remote on, power, and passenger door speakers wired down the passenger side. should i move the remote wire to run through the other side? any feedback would be appreciated, thanks.

Try messing with your ground, make sure its touching bare metal and make sure the terminals are good.

Sounds like a bad ground. If not, the head unit could be at fault. Are you running RCA's directly out of the head unit or are you using a converter?
