Since this is not an Accord specific application, youd probably get better/more info here

to power the PS2 you need a power inverter, you can find them at auto parts stores for around $30-$50. The pioneer deck will have RCA a/v inputs that the PS2's cable will connect to. The wirring for the deck is the same as pretty much any other deck, power, speakers... etc. The deck can be mounted in a standard dash kit for your car.

that is correct or do it to a switch that you can flick on and off just incase a cop pulls you over then you can turn it off.

The reason for having a higher install price is they have the brain which is a sperate unit and then if it is professonal then they would run a new power wire to the power inverter. then they have to find a place to mount the ps2 securly and route all the wires nicely.

At my place PC Richards we install decks for 45 changers for 35 and power invertor for around 40.

What car is all this going into? Where is there room for the PS2? Where would you like it? Sometimes it can go in the glove box or just under a front seat.

The deck.... its a pioneer... nothin spectacular about it. If you havent purchased it yet, try to find an alpine or even a kenwood... much better quality.

Yeah, money is usually the biggest deciding factor... thats probably why theres NO monitor or anything like that in my car.

I have no idea where to put a PS2 in that car... I have a 94 and I cant picture any real place to put it. If I ever get to that point, having one in my car, I want the controller ports and memory cards inside the ash tray with the rest of the console mounted somewhere else.
