i am trying to buy ring terminals at radio shack to connect a power cable for an amp. what size ring terminals should i get? i tried 3/8" but they are too small? maybe 1/2"?

 

You didn't buy the amp kit huh? haha 1/2" is a little bit. I kno that it'll work but u have to make sure it's secure. it's either 7/16 or 3/8. Hey why don't u buy the kit with all the connectors u'll need. So that way u could have the right connectors for everything!

 

i didnt buy the kit cuz i didnt wanna pay $30 for one. i can pick up all the parts i need for under $20. as for the ring terminal, i bought a 3/8" one and it was too small. it would not fit over the battery stud. i dunno if i should go with the 1/2" or bigger.

 

you can do the ghetto way and break the ring and make it into a U shape....hehe

or get a terminal post that will allow the smaller rings.
