Default little piece of plastic

ok, i have a 98 dx couple, and i have an aftermarket radio in it, i bought the car used and it had an aftermarket radio when u bought it too. the thing i was wondering is that i see a lot of civics that have radios and they have a little strip of black plastic covering the spot on that little change-holder thing next to the radio, i dont have one of these, is everyone making them, or did it come with a dash kit or something? i wanna get one cuz that spot is quite unsightly, thanks.
