Default jl10 w6 vs jl10w6 AE

hey, i have one 10" JLw6 right now and i know they are discontinued, but its pretty hard for me to find one in local shops.. they do offer the 10w6 AE.. is there a difference? can i just buy a 10w6 AE and have one reg jl10w6 ? Im thinking about running both of them on a JL 500/1 amp.. any suggestions .. thank you

They changed the basket on it to being chromed, and the dust cap's logo is silver instead of white. They also changed the gasket on it, but the T/S parameters should be the same as the original - so you can run the pair just fine.

cool.. thanks alot.. think it would sound nice? Im thinkin about buyin a alpine CDA-7998 HU.. 2 jl 10w6's running on a JL 500/1 amp.. not sure on the 6 1/2's yet.. probley jl coaxile speakers..
