Current is what flows on a wire or conductor like water flowing down a river. Current flows from points of high voltage to points of low voltage on the surface of a conductor(wire). Current is measured in (A) amperes or amps.

yeah, i guess i don't know anything about sound fidelity and wire conditions, since i've been working on highend computer-based recording systems for the last 5 years
oh yeah, and i'm persuing a degree in computer networking systems, so i don't know a thing about cat5 either
