Default Please Help...Subwoofer Box Calculation!!!

Hi, all
I was wondering if you can help me out with my sub. box calculation....

My goal was to customize a sub. box for one 12" sub. using fiberglass but im not quite sure with the measurement for the box.
The info. i got are:

The manual recommended closed box volume: 56.5-113 l (i think that is in Liter?)
Recommended Frequency Range: 20-800 Hz
Overall Dimension: 300.5 mm x 102 mm
Power rating: 200 W continous

http://www.dynaudiousa.com/products/car/drivers/190.htm

I know the recommended closed box volume would be the answer to my problem, but im confused w/ how big should the custom box be in my situation....
I have one 5 channel amplifer: its going to be bridged to power one 2-way component leaving 180W power left to power my sub.

Should i make the sub box volume small ( less than or around 56.5 l) due to the lack of power, 180W???

Thank you for your time, any advice would help...my design

you're gonna want to convert that to cu. ft. for ease...

You can play around with different numbers to see what cubic footage you come up with... (L x W x H /1728")

Smaller enclosures usually require MORE power... so you may want to go with a box that is closer to the larger recomended box... although, you're amp power is close to the subs recomended power, so it really dosent matter too much.

very nice driver

from the modeling in winisd...
it looks like the driver needs at least 2 cubes for it to sound good...
even at 2 cube....the qtc is almost 1..
imo..that can b muddy and wont sound accurate...
in order to get some nice sounding from it...it looks like the box needs to b bigger than that...

and i dont think ud have the space to fiberglass a huge box like that...

my advice...if u can...build a huge sealed box first...then maybe going down in size and decide how big u want ur final box to be...
it would b big though
