Default Speakers wont fit

Ok, I just got some CDT's (comp set) I took everything out, and found out that the depth on them makes them not fit (there is actually a metal bar in the way. Im guessing that this is a support brace of some sort...? Can someone help me out on what I can do? Thankz

I think a good start would be letting us know where you are trying to install them and how much of a gap there is when you put the speaker in as far as it will go.

That metal bar I think you are talking about is the rails or the windows, you cant move or cut it unless you want to leave your windows up.

If you ABSOLUTELY must get those speakers in, go to http://store.autotoys.com in the dash kit department, SPEAKER ADAPTERS and get a 1/2 inch space. This will space it out for you slightly. Your door panels may not sit as flush but at leasy your magnet of your speakers will fit.
