now, this is a good hatch set-up! If I only knew how to do it..

is it just me or does that have too many amps?
a cookie to the first person to figure out what car that is!

It's a freakin toyota supra!! Look at the dash see how it surrounds the driver, and look farther see the surpa in the f&f scene. I thought it was an easy question

an insight would be cool though.

i did a similar setup as i described, in my truck, with only wood. fiberglass would be too heavy.

Whoa partner...a properly installed 'glass enclosure will be lighter then any wood one you can build. Don't know where you heard that one, but the above is false...wood is much heavier.

not always. you have to back that fiberglass with something, you cant just lay sheets of it out and call it a day.

You can make a sub enclosure using 'glass that is only 1/8-1/4" thick if you design it properly (depending on the application of course).
I don't know if you have ever designed or worked with composites before, but you could make a box out of 90% fiberglass if you wanted to, and it would be extrememly light and you could use it as a jackstand.
Composites are a trade off in many aspects, but the main advantage is it's strength to weigth ratio....why do you think carbon fiber is so popular?!?
