need a lil help

hey i wanna remove the orange in my tail lights (97 acord) but there is this brown thing on there and i dont know how to take it off in order to remove the lights...it looks like this is the only thing left holding in the light...any help?

If you're talking about those brown clip things that are attached the the wires around the area and go over the bolts.....
