i have a 95 accord ex i was wondering if anyone knows how high of a boost i can run on stock internals and what necessary upgrades i should get to make it safe until i get the internals...........
and does anyone even make the rods pistons, rings, or any other internals for the f22b1 vtec motor????????????

 

Too be safe you would run 6 to 8 PSI. www.raceeng.com makes pistons for our car NA or FI. You should be ok though. If you have a auto tranny make sure to upgrade the tranny with one of those torque converter upgrades or w/e.

You could P&P your head, get a cam re-ground for like 100 bucks for cheap to help your internals. Get those pistons and your block re-sleeved. And you should be good.

9psi daily driven for now..

dynoed at 214hp at 238lbtq but let off the throttle at 4.5k RPMS due to boost spike at 11lbs..

going back to tune for 14.5 psi

btw I'm selling my drag 4 manifold with downpipe for 500 shipped in 3 months if you're interested. .. fits any t3 flanged turbo for 5 bolt flange downpipe

 

Have you done anything more to get 1bar, or you just going to see what it can do on Hondata?

 

stock engine from the factory..

i feel confident about it.. good tuning with the hondata will last me for awhile..
