Default AEM CAI or Comptech ice box?

which is better to get? AEM cold air intake or comptech ice box? i am leaning more towards comptech but your input helps.. btw i have 2001 v6 accord coupe

either one will give you about the same power really. The comptech I like a lot more not only because of its looks, but it also makes (from the tests I've seen - independant) a little more torque than the AEM and in general has a better power curve. Now a lot of people will scream AEM, but Comptech's icebox is hard to beat. It's also pretty safe and streetable, and it uses a foam filter which actually (theorteically) flows better than the K&N gauze. However, it also does not filter as well.

My vote is with the comptech, and besides, you'll be a little more original than everyone else with that.

I say icebox. looks near to stock and performs good!

i wish the icebox was offered for the 4th gen. if it was, i'd be all over it.

i would go with ice box...i heard if you hydrolock with them they replace ur engine might cost a little more but i heard nothing but good about it.

:werd: if they had one for 5th gen.. oh loooooord! but since they dont i had to make my own ice box
