Default arg I really need help!!!

ok so people tell me it's easy to take my gauges off, just slip the pin throught the hole.... the only problem is the hole is to small to fit the needle through. The needles base has a black plastic piece around it thats too big for the hole... how the **** am I supposed to get the gauges over the pins when the holes not big enough??????? Can someone pleeeeease help me, I know most people have done it before because theres so many glow gauges out there. :upset: :upset:

I dont have indiglos though.... I just want to take the stock gauges off, slip some red filem under them, then put the gauges back on. Im doing this to change the color of the numbers. Have you ever removed the stock gauges?

DO NOT REMOVE THOSE GAUGES!!.... IF YOU TAKE THE NEEDLE OFF YOU WILL **** THEM UP, AND THEY WILL NEED TO BE RECALIBRATED..... no i've never done it.... and i don't think it can be done because that peace is just one piece, you can't put anything under it, plus it wouldn't make a diff, because ur gauges don't glow.... a light shines down on them

but theres lights under them too. If I use red lights it makes the numbers pink because they are already white. But if I put red film under them Im hoping to get it even more red

u can take out each gauge individually by taking outthe whole cluster disconnect wires and pull out the cluster...then unscrew the screws in the back connecting the pieces...around 3-4 for each gauge....but do this at your own risk iv done it b4 to reinstall a gauge..but i never tried to replace a film..
