Default help with CEL code "41"

Hey guys, my car just recently threw a CEL code "41", which has to do with the oxygen sensor heater. I was just wondering if anyone knows if this is part of the actual oxygen sensor? If so, since it is faulty do i just replace the whole oxygen sensor? Thanks in advance.

The heater is built into the sensor. But the real problem could be a broken wire or even a blown fuse. Check that stuff out, or measure the resistance of the heater in your O2 sensor. If it's actually a fried heater it'll probably be open circuit. I don't remember what the resistance should be for a good heater.
