The heater is built into the sensor. But the real problem could be a broken wire or even a blown fuse. Check that stuff out, or measure the resistance of the heater in your O2 sensor. If it's actually a fried heater it'll probably be open circuit. I don't remember what the resistance should be for a good heater.
