Your problem sounds like my problem with 1988 Integra, automatic.
Sometimes, when I step on the gas, it feels like something sliding against another part, on the left front side.

It only happens when the car is warm and when I step on gas.

Have you found out what it really is?

turns out whoever installed my suspension ****ed up and stripped some threads and bolts were missing..and messed my passenger side control arm up. so the dealer had to replace the control arm and all bolts.

Did the dealer charge for doing this job?
You had some other people installed your suspension?

yes the dealer charged for the job because my car was no longer under warranty...and it was also because they determined that because my suspension was swapped and that it was installer error that caused it. and yes...i had a shop install my springs and shocks because i didn't have time to do it myself

What do you think about my problem?
Is it the control arm, CV boots, or left transaxle?

Hey dude, i think i know what is your problem, well at least take it as an advice.. I had the same trouble not long ago, I have a 1994 accord coupe manual trans.. As soon as the engine got a little warm, while going from standstill to foward or reverse, of just being in 1st and really slow speed (0-5km/h and the car going back and forth cuz of old engine mounts) I heard a CLUNK noise from under.. i tought of something banging, like engine on something, loose trans pieces or somethig.. Well i found my answer while looking under my car on a lift at school..! *The catalyser support is your problem* If you can get under the car try to look at it if its rusted where it meets with the cat, and try prying it *gently* (i broke mine off..damn!) You may hear that clunk noise.. Its due to the heat making the metal dilate and then it does the shit.. I even have the exhaust buzz problem at 1800rpm but thats another story! Hope i could help you out! tell me about it

Glad to here your car was fixed.

By the way, don't ever let a mechanic tell you because you lowered your car you f'd it up. If properly lowered your car is fine. Even Honda lowers it's models by changing spring rates and dampers. I get so pissed when a shop or the dealer blames a tranny issue or engine issue on a simple 2" drop done properly. Arrgg..:madfawk:
