Just out of curiousity, what kind of transmission does everyone have and what type of vehicle? I personally will not drive anything except for a manual, but that's mostly because my grandma drives an automatic, and I don't need to be driving like my grandma... But that's just me...
So what does everyone else have and why? Or did you even have a choice and if you could change it would you and why?

My car is an automatic, If buying a performance car... I always opt for manual, but I didnt buy the Accord to be a performance car. However, if I had to do it allover again, I would have definitely gone with the manual, simply because Honda automatics are like time bombs waiting to go off.

Automatics are to complicated and scary to drive. I am literaly afraid of an automatic. If u try to haul ass in one there is little control over the speed of the car unless u like to keep ur foot on the brake all the time. I can't believe soooo many people like autos. (excluding the obvious grandma and woman who has no clue about cars)

I've driven a stick since I got my license, and now I've had my new AT Accord for a month. I still have a 4th gen 5sp that I can take out for fun every now and then, but I don't miss having a stick in my daily driver. The new Accord 5sp auto is really a nice tranny, and besides, now I can hold a cup of coffee in my hand on the way to work without putting it down! Other than that, it's a nice change of pace. I'll probably go back to driving a stick someday, but for now I couldn't be happier with my new car.
