Ebd
Does the Acura TSX have Electronic Brake force distribution?
The brochure and the website do not mention that, but it is surprising that a vehicel in the Acura lineup would be missing something that is available on economy car lineup.
can anybody help me here?

No, it does not. Oddly, the European Accord on which it is based and the American Accord both have EBD. The VSA system takes care of any potential loss of control that the EBD would prevent, but EBD allows you to brake very firmly without having the car pitch forward. I don't know why they left that off...I guess they had to do it to keep itunder $27k.

h:My TSX and every TSX sold has that VSA system, but I find it useless. Thats why I like always turn it off everytime I drive the car. I feel the car has better acceleration when its turned off and I don't notice anything much when I make sudden turns with VSA on or off. So thats why I keep it turned off.
h: As for gas mileage on my TSX 6 speed. I get an average of 19 or 21mpg, which sux.

does it mean that even the best RL is trying to save a couple of hundred dollars? sounds absurd.

What is EBD suppose to do? I am too lazy to look it up.

Chikoo: The RL is not the best. It's a 1996 design. That sort of technology wasn't around then. Did you know that the RL doesn't even have VTEC? But it still outsells the Infiniti Q45 and M45 combined. Go figure. That aside, the next TL, due out in October, has EBD. Just like the new Accord does. The next RL, due out this winter/spring, will have EBD.
