Whalen tire claims to send you free hub centric rings (for a vibration free ride) when you order a wheel and tire package from them. I plan on ordering just wheels though and am not sure if these come with the wheels. Are hub centric rings something i should be worrying about or is it just a gimmick to say the word "free" by it??

 

no, hubcentric rings are important to the fitment of the wheel

they make sure the wheel has a nice snug fit on the hub and the lugs go on exactly as they are supposed to. They should come with your wheels whether you get tires or not.
