Default Current DIY Projects

Project 1 : Graphite/Gunmetal Painted Gauges Bezel (100% Complete)

Project 2 : Relocation of interior lights dimmer knob/switch with Acura Vigor one (100% Complete)

Project 3 : Cleared Tail Lights (100%) Complete

Project 4 : Paint Match stock lips/skirts/door-moldings (25% Complete)
-i've taken the stuff off, and got the stuff to prep work (Body Shop is gonna paint it :x )

Project 5 : Acura Vigor leather steering wheel swap (5% Complete)
-i bought it from a junk yard

Project 6 : Acura Vigor Black Leather E-Brake Handle swap (50% Complete)
-ditto, but i gotta cut off my stock one...but don't wanna do that, so i need to buy the whole mechanism from a junkyard

Project 7 : Red Interior lights (A/C, Gauges, A/T Lights) (100% Complete)

Project 8 : Acura ??? A/T Shift Knob Swap (100% Complete)

Project 9 : Bumper TurnSignal/FogLight Mod (50% Complete)
-This isn't the normal 1157 or 194 Socket Method, i'm siliconing another entire stock socket on the housing so i can have both bright fog lights and bright amber turn signals. Plus, as an addition, i'm adding switches and relays so i can turn them off and so that when my blinkers start to signal, the fogs turn off in sequence, so it will look just like the bulb is changing color.

Project 10 : Extra Rear window defroster button -> Fog Light button conversion(50% Complete)
-i've bought the swich, have some foglight wiring that i'll use, and will use the empty slot that i've made available (old location of gauge dimmer switch/knob)

very nice.... did that vigor cruise/dimmer have the same plugs in back as the stock ones? I like how that works out if so... although i guess it wouldnt work for people with a moonroof. Does it light up the same color...? or no, and you were planning on making it red?

I would like to do some OEM exchange of parts.... but i dont have any local yards to search.

yeah, LX users only...i had to cut the circuit board in half, then attach it to the other side. the lights color does match. and it has the exact same plug as the accord. its only the dimmer switch, i had to do some custom fabrication to remove the blank, switch the cruise control button, and make it fit.

fog lights are aimed perfectly, doesn't blind anyone either (i've had the 1157 socket method for a while)

Now that i look at that pic closely... i see u cut the stock one.... ah... i thought that panel was straight from the vigor... Do you plan on putting something around the edging, so u dont see the cut line? Why did u have to cut it, if the stock pop out for the sunroof control just pops off? doesnt it?

You are just using another stock blinker bulb in the bumper lights? just with a clear bulb? So they dont actually function as fog lights? theya re just brighter than 194's?

If you use AIM.... contact me at "Uhkordguy" right now.

no they do function as fog light (WAY brighter then crap 194, they're as bright as my h4 headlight bulbs)

as for the cut marks, the flash makes them show up more, you can't see them really...

and the switch was SLIGHTLY taller then the blank, thats why i cut it

Very nice. I'm interested in that vigor boot swap. What is needed to be cut off the stock one? can you just use a heat gun to heat the stock one and slide it off? I've read that is one method to remove the stock cover.

Also what bulb #/size are you going to use for your fog lights? And what size for the blinking amber?
