SAMSON: it's one of those Giant 194 bulbs (7767 i think). they're not meant to project forward, they're meant to project sideways/outward. and they light up the road VERY well, try running down a splice from your 194 corner bulb to your bumpers and wire that along with a ground to your clear bumpers. that way you can see for yourself.

no, i'm using an Amber bulb (one at schucks with the plastic base) with the base cut off. as for the fogs, the 7767 stock bulb (that giant wedge bulb)

u never gave the bulb info... all you said was you used another socket.... and from the pics, they looked the same...

sorry.

BTW- do u know they wattage on those bulbs then... because people have found the housings to melt/warp.. im just curious. Oh... and im happy with my 194 socket method... because all i was going for was looks. Where did you biy those 2 sockets... and if you could, can u get the exact socket/bulb #... i might give that a try. Did u solder the socket onto the bumper light, because that looks pretty smooth.?

s'alright

official info
Blinker: Amber, modified, 7440like... (? watts)
Fog: Clear, stock, 7440 (? watts)
Sockets: got some broken amber stock bumper lenses from local junkyard, then busted out the dremel . they're siliconed on.

as for melting, nope...not worried. only thing i would worry about, would be to put a headlight bulb in them...

7440 i believe is 21watts? Where did you find amber 7440 bulbs? I cannot find any for the life of me, had to use autozone amber 7443 bulbs (dual filament 5/21w).

In any case I like your idea of the fog/blinkers.

Any thought of using red LEDs, they will be a lot less Pink. Other than that looks good. I'm getting ready to retire my blue and either do red or white, more than likley white though.

blue was nice for a while, to the eye it's a nice blue, but my camera freaks out with bright lights and turns them white, like my phone is REAAAALLY bright, and yes I modified the phone myself

but I definately think white or red will accent this better
