just: hey whats up... are u talking bout sunny's old accord? hehehe.... cuz i have them on my car accord rite now.... compared with my lightweight rh cp-35 17" (15lbs vs ~24lbs), its day and night. in acceleration at least. on the highway, the diff. isnt as bad as the wheel is already at speed

so the question is: looks or performance?

18's will look tight, but they are going to be very heavy. 17's will be fine and that way you will be able to get the multipiece C2's which are tight as hell. also, later down the road, IMO, 17's are going to be a lot easier to sell.

Dan, yea...You're Sunny's roommate, huh? Nice to finally talk to you. It's Henry, he knows who it is...anyway...I really like how the C2s look on the 5 gen Accord...well...we all had. BTW, if you're remotely interested in selling them, let me know.

Sunny's been telling me that weight is a huge issue. I guess performance isn't as great a deal to me...but I couldn't stand it if the car's sluggish. You said the c2s are 24 lbs...ouch. See, goin with 17's just makes me feel like i'm half assin it...I dunno...hard decision.

SWOOSHER21, I'm reading your sig and like your setup...could you provide some pictures? I just want to see how the 17"s look on your car...because you have a good point, 17"s may be easier to sell later on. That's definitely a factor to me.

19's are best on a sixth gen.
18's look like 17's, 19's look like 18's
Racing Harts:
Evo's = Made in USA by Dazz, quality and look are good
3 Piece = Made in Japan, quality and look are fanta$tic

The 3 piece rims look ten times better than their evo counterparts but the price difference is BIG. Depends what you can afford.
Personally I think getting the rims you love the most are worth saving up for. (I did.)

My 3 piece, 19", M5's weigh 19 lbs. They are durable enough to stand up to unexpected potholes at regular speeds with no problem.

jasonh1234, Didn't know the 3 pieces were made in Japan, that makes me want them more. I think i'm leaning toward 18"s (19's too big for the 5th gen IMO). How come your M5s are 19 lbs and the C2s are like 24lbs? I know it has more spokes, but they're thinner...anyway...Now i'm wanting to ask if anyone has 18" C2 3Pieces to sell and if anyone has pictures of those on 5th gen sedans. Thanks everyone.

You should go with some 17's if you dont have a bodykit. If you're planning to get a kit then you should get some 18's. I think 18's look wierd on cars without ground effects or lip skirts.

I'm in the works of getting the Wings West W-Typ Kit for my car. Dantastic, I'm the one buying the side skirts...thanks for hold on to them, really appreciate it. So I take it you guys would recommend 18"s to go with this kit? Even though they're heavy as !@#$.

I haven't weighed mine myself. I'm going by what the shop owner said to me. I don't think he'd exagerate or lie to me.
But he may have been wrong.

Hmm Wings West W-Type Kit doesn't ride as low as most kits such as blackwidow. I think 17's would go good with that kit. Its up to you though...if you are more performance related then go with 17's, if you are more show related go with 18's. Personally, I like 17's better than 18's.
