The 3 piece rims look ten times better than their evo counterparts but the price difference is BIG. Depends what you can afford.
Personally I think getting the rims you love the most are worth saving up for. (I did.)

My 3 piece, 19", M5's weigh 19 lbs. They are durable enough to stand up to unexpected potholes at regular speeds with no problem.
