Timing belt and new water pump should be anywhere from $350-550 with parts and labor. The rest of the "near" 100,000 mi tune-up for 6th gen Accords is probably new plugs, plug wires and distributor cap. That could run you another $100-200 parts and labor. Other than standard fluid changes, (Oil, Tranny and Brake) air filter and fuel filter, there really is not too much that Accords need to keep running strong.

paid about $300 for the service at the dealer on my accord, then had the timing belt changed at an independant mechanic for $120 (labor only). i bought the timing belt, balancer belt, and water pump online. i also had pulleys and a camgear installed all at once

When you say distributor cap do you mean just the cap for the distributor or the whole distributor?

Honda dealership tried to charge me $610 for parts & labor, I swear they have a license to rape & rop people. Can anyone tell me where you can get decent prices on a waterpump & timing belt for the 6th gen accords?.

Dude I hear that. Honda dealerships charge out the ass. I think the best bet, if you can't find a quality independant mechanic, is to search for a dealership in a cheaper market. It sucks to travel for standard mantenence but sometimes there are no decent alternatives.

I paid to mucha nd before you go and get it done by the lowest bidder I'd check them out with the BBB. I just got my accord back and the sorry F@ckers who worked on my car are going to pay for it to be fixed right. I posted what happened to my car below this post check it out. Don't let just anybody with a set of wrenches near your car unless you know for a fact they can do it and do it right. Average cost I found was anywhere from about $350 for part and labor to about $650. You may have them replace the crank seal, that is what I needed done (since I didn't qualify for the so called product upgrade) and went ahead and had them replace the timing belt, water pump..... Good Luck
