You don't have to leave the wax on it to make it work. Once the wax hazes then you buff it off with a 100% terry cloth towel.

also, don't wax when its really humid out b/c the wax will not come off completely unless you continuously buff it. it will leave a residue behind and you will also be able to see where you applied the wax. you will have spots where it looks like it didn't get waxed and spots where it looks nice, but it wont be nice and uniform like its supposed to. you have to rub relatively hard to remove all of the excess wax to make it look uniform. not sure if you understood what i was talking about, but i tried. haha. yeah, dont wax in the sun either.
