What are you talking about? The GR-2's are KYB's.

If you had to run a 4" drop you could run Koni's and use Eibach's or another good spring and use the lowest Koni pearch to achieve this level of slam--however at a 4" drop I'd have to agree its too low you will bottom out the car before the shocks on those settings, LOL.

PS--Koni's Sports are mass money too--I have some but way pricey for a shock--if you are going to run $600-700.00 shocks spend the pidley cash and get good springs to go with them please!

Damn....$600-700???? For Koni's? I hope you didn't pay that much... if so you got ripped. Koni yellows are $500-550 max. Neuspeed also makes a koni yellow strut that is shorter cased than reg. yellows. I'd look into that or maybe Bilstein Sport struts(not HD's, but those are pretty kickass too)... those things are soooo much tougher and longer lasting than koni's(I've seen so many of those circlips break it's not even funny, you try driving home with the spring sitting on the arm). Just IMO. But for a non-adj to match the almighty adj. Koni yellow is pretty impressive in my book.

There is a max height limit, at least in NJ there is. I don't remember the exact measurment, I'll check when i goto work. There is also a limit on how high you can lift a truck. The frame can only be so far from the ground. New Jersey had a big thing a couple years ago when they started the "Lift laws"

get some Teins, i love them on my car. if not, get some bilsteins, because they have a lifetime warranty and dropped at 4" is going to put alot of stress on them, so i say try those.
