2" is illegal in CA on a 5th gen b/c your headlights will be below the legal limit. funny how they dont have a max limit :fawk: suvs


for a 4" drop, youre gonna bottom out on any shock you buy, so the ride wont ever be that great. KYB AGX shocks are great, but they are not meant to be used for drops more than 1.8". dont even consider getting tockico HPs (blues). theyre pretty weak, as are kyb GR-2 for such a low drop. I'd go with either Illuminas or konis... actually i wouldnt ever go with a 4" drop. can you really drive anywhere? esp with ppl in the car?

 

yeah, with a true 4" drop youre gonna have a hard time finding a shock that will last thru the years muchless a shock that will warrant that kind of drop. if you were planning on staying at a 4" drop maybe you should have gotten a full coilover setup. 4" inches is pretty damn low, i used to be at 3.25" and my cat,header and piping has war wounds. good luck with the tires or camber kit...youll be wearing thru them or hitting fenders all day.
