Default putting on a strut bar?

Ok...posted this on the DIY forum...but thought I might get more response here.

I got a strut bar...it's pretty and shiney...I wanna put it on my car! So do I just pop the hood, take the nuts off the strut with my torque wrench, put the bar on, torque the nuts back down, and rinse lather repeat for the other side? Or is there by chance more to it? Any help is appreciated!

depending on the brand of bar, you might have to jack up one side of the car to get everything to line up.

You may have to loosen the bracket bolt for the EGR cable and move it over. I had a problem with it hitting the strut bar bracket.
