Ive got a 99 accord and the burning question is about the 6.5 speakers in the front doors. There seems to be a restriction on the speakers that can be installed. Does ne one know of any fixes that will allow larger depth speakers in the car?? Help me out plz!

 

you can cut the bottom out of the little basket thats in the door that holds the speaker.

 

or you can always make another spacer..

 

focal makes a new line of thin speakers =)

 

I would just do a cut out on the speaker like mentioned earlier.

 

6.5" diamonds wouldn't fit...too deep

i had to goto 5.25"
