Default just bought bulbs

i just bought some bulbs to try,

some of my friends say they only last 2 months , is this true guys ?

there's no brand name on them, they're 55 watts each (which is pushing it), and there's no way they've been DOT approved. they'll burn out if you're lucky, start a fire if you're not.

you get what you pay for

55w = stock wattage. 9006 are 65w stock. i ran 90w 9006 in my accord w/o any problems. i switched to depos and ran 90w h4's with out any problems. i just dont ever use my headlights during the daytime and turn off my lights when im idle for a long time (ie drivethru etc). but appearantly alot of people dont have as good of luck as i do.

ive had apc hi-watts in my civic for over a year now (they came with the car). i use hyper industries in the accord, and the lasted about 1.5years

i had some cheap ones in my car a while back and after 3 months one of them blew and i used a rubber glove to put them in and definately did not touch the glass so that might happen to you so watch out
