Default 03 accord differential noise

I can hear differential noise on my 03 accord 4 cyl. I t has to be between 70-80mph. I just want to check if you guys can hear your differential or not.

It has to be on acceleration, just a touch on gas paddle

Thanks

it the high pitch noise that comes from the differential, in the tranny. It could be heard , if you have it, when you press the gas paddle slightly down, or let off the padle, or cruising, or all of the above moving of the padle. You can hear it more on many old rear wheel drives. On the new car and front wheel drive is rare, but I have it on my 03. I am sure of it. I just want to share this with all of you.

It is very expensive and complecate problem it fix, require the removal of tranny. I'll stop by the dealer one day, soon and have them check.

If you want to check if you have it or not. Just take it on the freeway, find a smoth lane to run on, turnoff your radio, roll up all windows, play with you gas paddle. You have to first cruise the car, than lightly touch the gas paddle to accelerate and than decelerate. Do it a few times and try to listen to the noise that you might hear. You have have it you will hear the different noise level in your car.

If you have this noise it could be a potential problems for the tranny, or bearings.

Let me know if you can hear it.

03 Sedan 4cyl auto. I have a high pitched whine in mine. It sounds sort of like the ignition noise you get through a radio if it is not grounded properly. The first time I heard it I thought that's what it was but when I turned the radio off I could still hear it. Then I noticed that if I coasted or put the tranny in neutral the noise stopped. It also raises or lowers in pitch if you go faster or slower. It's pretty hard to hear and I usually don't notice it unless I listen for it. I can't pinpoint where the noise is coming from but I wouldn't think it was the differential since it stops if I take my foot off the accelerator pedal.

That is the exact noise that comes from mine. Trust me it is coming from your differential. It is not loud yet but wait untill it gets a little older. I will stop by the dealer and have it check out. And I think you guys who have thise noise should do the same.

Let us know what the shop says. I'm about 40 miles from my Honda dealer so it's kind of hard for me to get there unless I take time off from work.....
