it the high pitch noise that comes from the differential, in the tranny. It could be heard , if you have it, when you press the gas paddle slightly down, or let off the padle, or cruising, or all of the above moving of the padle. You can hear it more on many old rear wheel drives. On the new car and front wheel drive is rare, but I have it on my 03. I am sure of it. I just want to share this with all of you.

It is very expensive and complecate problem it fix, require the removal of tranny. I'll stop by the dealer one day, soon and have them check.

If you want to check if you have it or not. Just take it on the freeway, find a smoth lane to run on, turnoff your radio, roll up all windows, play with you gas paddle. You have to first cruise the car, than lightly touch the gas paddle to accelerate and than decelerate. Do it a few times and try to listen to the noise that you might hear. You have have it you will hear the different noise level in your car.

If you have this noise it could be a potential problems for the tranny, or bearings.

Let me know if you can hear it.
