Spring recommend??
Looking to get some KYB-AGX's pretty soon, so now i'm lookin at springs. What you guys using and what you guys recommend? Been looking at the H&R and neuspeeds. Whats the difference between the 2?
The difference between H&R and Neuspeed. The color of the packaging they come in. Thats the only difference. H&R makes the springs for Neuspeed.
Do a search, you will find some great information or spring and strut setup.

if you just want to reduce the fendergap, like me, get the Eibach prokit. Plus it's good because I don't have any camber issues. if you want a nice drop, get the Eibach sportlines like AcCoRd97Lx.
I trust Eibach more than any other company. but other people can vouch for other spring makers for their cars.
you can see my drop in my sig (although it's kinda hard on a black car w/shadows on the wheel wells). basically I have about an inch fendergap. incidentally, I notice that Eibach under rates their drops a little.

well,
I haven't measured, I'm just guest-imating. but, it was more than expected, but it was only after it settled completely. also, it's with one passenger in the driver's seat.
speaking of which, do any of you notice that the left side of the car, especially the front seems to be pre-loaded to accept the weight of the driver? at first I thought there was something wrong but I looked under the hood and it looks like the washer/bolt and gasket that you can see actually sits lower on the shock tower (left front vs. right front). becasue my fender gaps are only perfectly equal when I sit in the car.

i was lookin at the prokit and noticed it only gives you a 0.75 drop while the neuspeed sports gives 1.5 to 1.75. hmmmm kinda a big difference.. I was lookin at something like a 1.5 drop. Any suggestions?
I saw get the H&R sports if you want a drop and some increase in handling. If all you want is a slight drop, go with the Eibach, it rides more like stock from what I hear.
I have the H&R's sports and I'd recommend them.

eibach.com:
SPORTLINE KIT
front 1.9 in
rear 1.4 in
PRO-KIT
front 1.3 in
rear 1.2 in
I found these number were very conservative. but in anycase, if you go any lower than the prokit there are 3 things you need to worry about:
1. scrapping/rubbing/bottoming-out
2. vastly decreased shock-life (for the stock dampers)
3. you might need a camber adjustment kit/installation, which can run as much as the springs did.

I have the H&R sports as well....very nice drop, lower than I expected, but I like it. I've scraped twice...and both were on my driveway, so I think you'll be pretty safe. My friend has the pro-kit, for some reason...it seems tighter around the turns than mine
