And people say 7th gen has problems, HAHAH

See, they dont really just normal stuff ALL new cars have problems with... Nothing major thats caused by the car being a new GEN... Those who have had BIG problems like over heating and stuff are just the few that didnt get taken good care of on the way to the dealer or slipped pasted the factory, but their is more people with the car with no problems with with the car with problems...

My only problem is my factory rims get so damn durty, lol I clean them and next day they look like I never cleaned them, yet my moms she had dealer detail her car and 3 days latter they are only a little dirty, I need to ask them what they use, lol all I do is wash them with car wash and thats it...

My other problem is my spoiler but thats MY fault for going AM, the place that installed it ****ed up so one side floats a little but oh well, they sealed the holes so its fine and knowone has ever said anything to me about it unless I point it out..

all I need now are some fogs, and the front spoiler lip thing... oh and my 2 inch scratch fixed, lol...

I LOVE MY CAR and anyone who dont love the 7th gen, well :fawk: and too bad,

Hi all. This is my first post. I bought my ex v6 coupe in march. No problems at first. Then I noticed that the steering wheel was a little off centered but when I went in for my first service the dealer rotated the tires and the problem went away. The drivers power window switch acts up sometimes. When the window is all the way down and I pull the switch so that the window automatically goes up, it goes up about an inch and then goes down again. The passenger side seat was loose and now rattles a bit. Oh yeah, about a week ago the cd player started skipping a little. Now it skips like crazy. I will let the dealer know about the cd player when I have the time to bring it in. Other than these little quirks I love my car. My mileage is 9000 miles.

is that true? I can only get about 200-220 per tank at most with mine.

My TSX is essentially a Euro Accord and yet I have a few problems with my car already. I have a few problems with my new Acura TSX and it has only 4,xxx miles on it. I took delivery on the car on May 17th. Some of my CDs get jammed in the 6 disc changer and the engine has a tendency for overheating. However, turning off the A/C seems to solve this problem.
Another thing is my gas mileage on the TSX. The window sticker claims 22mpg in city and 31 on highway, but recently I've been getting 20 miles to the gallon. My range now is 250 miles compared to 410 miles when I got it. wtf?!? I got 28mpg the week after I bought it, but I have no idea whats the deal with the terrible gas mileage now. I don't have money to keep buying fuel like this! Especially when Premium 93 here costs $1.81!!!:madfawk:

Those are the problems I have with my new TSX, but I still like it even with these problems.

I think I will have to start driving my Honda CR-V more now and leave the TSX in the garage!

Hey Fastball,

Yeah, I'm thinking of getting a new 6 speed coupe next year too. Hope the 7th Gen Accords don't have too many issues. I checked out a 6 speed coupe at the dealer last April, and I think it solves most of my "fitment" issues that I have with the Prelude.

I love the Prelude, but I wish it had more headroom, I wish the steering wheel was in a more user friendly position, ect. The Acccord coupe seems to be a more comfortable fit for me. Hopefully the handling and braking are on par with the Prelude. I'm sure the power is better, and that's nice.

My Coupe runs great. I have about 4k mi, had it since March 31, about 10:30pm . A lot of high speed highway miles (80-90mph). Glad I got another Accord. No rattles, vibrations, or non-dealer problems (they installed the auto mirror about 1" to low and the wire clip/cover has fallen almost off).

And SERIOUSLY watch out for the idiots in parking lots! got a nice grazing blow in the side of mine, thank you silver metallic paint for hiding it so well until I can get it fixed right.

It makes a huge difference how you drive. I'm getting around 26 mpg in mixed city and mountain driving. But I can see when I get a bit heavy on the gas, it makes a difference in how fast the gage goes down. I still get well over 300 miles per tank, even when I don't pay a lot of attention to it.

Dude, I can't even believe guys like you exist.

You've got a BRAND-NEW CAR that, among other things, overheats when you dare to use your a/c and your brilliant solution to the problem is to leave your baby in the garage and drive some pansy cute-ute?? Weak.

Umm, I've got a crazy idea that just might help solve some of your problems...

TAKE THE FRIGGIN CAR INTO THE DEALER FOR SERVICE!

Part of the price you paid for that 04 Acura was for a new car warranty, so you might as well use it while it lasts. As far as your gas mileage differences, there are LOTS of things that can cause mileage to vary, so I wouldn't even know where to begin with that issue, but I think that's small potatoes compared to the other stuff wrong with your car. It might be time to start wondering if you might have pulled a lemon...

On an unrelated topic, some punk in a TSX pulled up next to me at a light a couple nights ago and revved his little 4-banger at me. Well, light turned green and me and my 03 Accord Coupe EX-V6 handed that little brat his butt! Complete and total ownage. Lesson of the story? TSX owners, don't bring a knife to a gun fight...
