subtract what toddnmiss paid for his intake from your $165 and thats what that CARB sticker means.
The chip they so call sell on ebay is a resistor you can buy at radio shack for less than a dollar. All it does is trick the computer into thinking the intake air is 35 degress all the time. Doing this on a really hot day screws with other components in the engine. Since the computer thinks its taking in colder more dense air, its going to dump more fuel in to make the right mix which what it thinks is right anyway. This will cause more smoking than usual, excessive wear on 02 sensor and cat not to include the rest of the engine. And some bad gas milage. Its a good cheap trick if your gonna race but not a every day driver mod.
