NO way today after work I was exiting to the street I stepped on the gas 3/4 the way and i peeled out and i drive an auto damn it sounded Great! it lasted 5-7 seconds seem long tho and my tires still have 65% tread on them.

depending on the condition of your tranny, brake-torquing an auto tranny may or maynot improve acceleration.
with my 96 accord with 97+kmi, the torque converter wont hold, so my launches are bogged.
on my friends 00 v6 accord, i can get maaaad wheel spin
man professional draggers (well no import ones) use autos b/c they are more consistant. so why not race with an auto??
