Recently I tried my hands on the 1/4 mile drag race.
I'm driving a 95 Accord LX AT w/o vtec.
I'm also running a 75 shots nitruos.
I was wondering how do I get the best holeshot out of the starting with my automaticand nitruos?

 

change to 5 speed :dunno:

 

nos on an auto....mm thats a no no. unless you have built internals??

 

you've got to upgrade your ignition, sparkplugs and sparkplug wires before you do any of that stuff dood. this way your engine will still be semi stable.

when i used to launch in my auto..... i had the brake down with my left foot, and my right i had on the gas pushing to about 2500 rpm. and then floor it afterwards.

but seriously you'll get better results with a 5spd.

 

time for a 5spd 'lude tranny. Auto trannies have teh suck

 

AT does suck...i want 5spd......

 

start with a better car or press nawz w/ each shift. don't forget to warm up the tires
